No rain, no gain...

Six days gone of the 6 months...

This week we have been challenged by rain. Our mind, our body, our clothes. Today, I was wet to the bone.

Nevertheless, the spirits are still up. We had some good and nice hill training, and my legs are only a little aching! Meanwhile, Thomas is being superman, trying to do what he can to make me suffer a little less.

Our day rhythm shifts to eating, packing our stuff and loading the bicycles, outfacing rain (and then even more rain) and hills (but luckily no bike problems until now), eating (constantly eating actually) and trying to catch some hot drink somewhere, more cycling (and eating), arriving at a hostel/warm showers, showering (usually), eating and looking for a new place to stay the other day.

Today we were interviewed by a local German film crew, broadcast is on the 13th of May on SWR.de!

But most of all, I remember the warming encounters we had with our Warmshowers hosts.

· Sharing the best vegan lasagna with beer (a winner!)

· Sharing travel experiences: biking South-America and Wales/tour skiing in Pakistan/climbing the Mont Blanc!

· Having most interesting conversations about environment-friendly food chain supplies and new climates challenges; radar systems; …

· Sleeping in a super cosy SAUNA!

· Encountering a super enthusiastic and cute host in Koblenz, for whom our cycling gear was ‘super geil’ (luckily the conversation was in German)

We’re looking out for new Warmshowers encounters, you guys were gorgeous! You put some fire under our pedals!

Last but not least, we are glad to announce we crossed the 1000 euros to buy 15 bicycles for the Indian girls! Specials thanks to the people who consigned some money the previous week, you made it all worth to cycle for hours and hours to the rain! #norain_nopain_nogain
